Senior Corporate Communications Executive
Location: West Malaysia
Scope
- Coordinate communications events, as instructed by the Communications & External Affairs (EA) Manager, which include liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Proposing budgets, engaging vendors and managing related schedules
- Assist Communications & Manager in gathering input from internal stakeholders to ensure communications projects create value for the business
- Provide creative suggestions as part of the Communications Team; to ensure communications projects and events are delivered in fresh, engaging, and innovative ways
- Engage/Manage vendors for communications projects and events including their performance, quality of services, and goods delivered as well as monitoring the cost, delivery/completion schedule, and payables
- Provide feedback to Communications & Manager in efforts to minimize waste and improve communications works systems
- Draft, publish and distribute internal messages, bulletins, announcements, and invites to employees and/or embedded contractors
- Assist the Communications & Manager in gathering business-related information, current national/global issues that may be affected the business directly or indirectly
- Provide support to the Communications & Manager in executing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities.
- Provide support/assistance to the Communications & Manager for the Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Approval Request System
Skills & Personal Traits
- Minimum 6 years of working in Corporate Comms department in Oil & Gas company
- Strategic thinker with meticulous attention to detail, e.g., corporate branding and media collaterals
- Manage well under pressure and best fit for meeting deadlines
- Excellent command of interpersonal and communications skills in the fast-paced environment and adaptive to the changes
- Fairly good at media multimedia skills needed for any ongoing project at hands
- Creative director of oneself in interpreting what business functions demands and needs
- Up to date to the current trends, method of communications and at same time being proactive for self-development of the industry knowledge
- Broad professional network to gain firsthand knowledge from Communications titans in the industry
- An enthusiast and energetic and always on the ready for more projects
- Outstanding organization and time-management skills
- Excellent at public relations skill and engage in variety of channels, including social medias platform and mass media to learn more about the public interests from different audiences
